NEED quick advice on how penetrating somnic blast works against a vehicle

NEED quick advice on how penetrating somnic blast works against a vehicle. Damage would have been equal to a bruise in help wanted. Target had 8 impervious. How would this work rule-wise?

PS Updated the last post of the game. Thought Roughneck would have been more effective, but the second bug made a very high save.

I don't have my book under hand, but if I remember well, impervious work like that:

  • If the DC bonus of the power is lower than impervious, then you ignore the attack.
  • If the DC bonus of the power is equal or higher, then the attack touch, proceed as normal.
  • If you use autofire extra, don't count the resulting bonus, but only the base DC bonus against impervious. Autofire is many shot combine for greater power. If impervious is able to stop one of these attack, it stop them all and the result is just nothing, not something more powerfull.

Thanks Velmont. How does the damage affect a vehicle/construct. Is it the same way as a PC?

Still by memory: yes.

If someone contradict me and refer you to a page of the book, well, consider him more precise than I.

Okay, a quick question that got wiped out when the boards died awhile back.

For the Luck feat that gives you extra Hero Points, the way it reads in the book you get them before your first adventure and if you don't use them during the adventure you lose them per the regular rules for Hero points. My question is if I'm spending a few feats on this am I only ever getting those few Hero Points, or do I get those bonus lucky Hero Points before EVERY adventure. This would make more sense to me logically but it doesn't say it literally in the books description of that feat.

Any help here please?

At each adventure, you start with 1 HP + the number of rank in luck feat. You 'lose' those HP, and any other HP at the end of the adventure, which only mean you can't carry unspent HP from an adventure to another.

Any new games imminent? I hope to modify Gremlin and get to play him soon. I would like to keep Help Wanted going while I'm gone, but I don't know the rules well enough to play without the book. Will Roughneck get to keep the Takedown Attack feat for the rest of the game? I also plan to modify Gremlin a little when I get back. I'm going to split up Luck control and Nullify into separate powers. If I can afford it I'll take one more level in leaping also.
