Also, for the most part, many of them you can choose to use. Even fame. If I were to run a home game, I wouldn't let the players choose anything I exclusively would have to activate.

I dunno. I think the Enemy complication and the Love Interest complication are both pretty cool. If the player could activate Enemy, that would be kind of lame "I activate my Enemy complication, so now we have to fight my Enemy!" and Love Interest probably works better if the GM handles much of it too. I dunno, I would tend to be the opposite of you on this, actually, and I would never give HP to overeager players who keep trying to activate their complications on their own. As the book says on page 123 "The GM decides when a particular complication comes up, although you can offer suggestions on suitable opportunities".

Now, to supplement that, I will add that I plan on making myself a complete list of all the complications of all the players in my game so that I can fairly adjudicate this duty.

Bront- Are you planning on running an adventure soon? Help wanted is starting to wind down. We'll probably finish pretty soon after I return from Alaska. Just wondering what your plans are. Advertising a new game in the talking the talk thread seems reasonable, but it puts a lot more pressure on you as character judge. I think we could recruit a player or two without current players missing out. I have a game idea, but it may take a while to write, and is centered around the background of one player (if either you or I run something after RA gets started). Of course I still have a pre-written mission that can be thrown into play as soon as I finish statting a few NPCs. I was just hoping to start GMing some missions that I developed instead of canned ones, but I'm still learning as I go so one more probably wouldn't kill me.

I'm pondering, but waiting to see where other things fall out. Big issue is time.

RA has one in the works, though that leaves him in the lounge.

Well, I could probably run something after Help Wanted, but its really best suited for about three players. That will leave several players still out (including Titan). I guess I'll just wait and see myself. I'm kind of at the high mark in terms of time I can put into gaming. Maybe another GM besides us (you,me,RA) will step forward. I'm still shooting for being done with HW by the middle of next month.

H4H was thinking about it, but the crash and other issues have gotten in the way.

We'll see. I think the M&M 2.0 buzz is still growing.

We have gained some very solid players over the last few months so I'm not too worried. I think the biggest thing slowing the growth of LS is that GMs are hard to come by, and the book is a little pricey. When I read through H4H's adventures elsewhere on the site they were really good so hopefully he'll find the time down the road. :D I'm really looking forward to RAs game.

Yeah, I think LS will slowly grow, but ti will grow... if I had time and ideas, I would run a mission, but the only idea I have cannot be run for now, and I mastering one adventure in LEW that gives me an headache once in a while as I have decide to master a large group that is not a group... anyway, I might master something, but not soon.

If it helps, I just bought the book yesterday. But I have a fair bit of reading to do before I create my first character.
