Any frontrunning ideas. I kind of like to hear people's character concepts. Not really because I have anything to do with character approval, but because it might help me with adventure hooks and plot ideas down the road. With my vacation coming up I won't be able to start anything for about a month. I want to get back and get Antiques Roadshow closer to the finish line before beginning another one. You guys are going through that one pretty quick. Less players plus attentive players=faster games. Hope everyone is having fun in the game so far.

FYI- My vacation will be from next Thursday to the following Saturday (5-13th).

My first idea was for an incorperal ghost type character. I see in the character submissions though that one was already proposed(though not completed or approved. I think it was done in 1E rules or something). My backup concept was for a self aware robot type of thing. What do ya think of those?

It definitely beats waiting around for several days before moving along though. Sadly, I've only ever seen a fast game happen in a living world when all the players dropped out due to disappearing until there was only one left :D
I'd like to do keep the numbers four and below, but usually I'm GMing out of neccessity, so I just look to empty the Ready Lounge

I had a player in my home game that created a ghost character who was incorporeal, had an energy drain touch (Drained everything on a failed save), possession, and animated undead. He was funny.

I wouldn't worry about the wraith character since it was submitted a long time ago, although there is some overlap with Erekose13's Spirit. As long as you have a good backstory and roleplay well like you do with Paladin, things should be fine. I kind of like the android thing, just because noone has gone that route yet. Of course in the comics the Vision was a self aware android who could alter his density to both extremes. It will be fun to see what you come up with. Would he have an imprint of a humans thought patterns or be like a five year old in a big body where he is naive, but learning rapidly.

Not sure on both. The incorporeal would be more dealing with shadows, emotion control, draining (something!), teleporting through shadows and stuff like that. The android I was thinking could be like a smaller sentinal (from X-men), made as a security system that somehow becomes self-aware. Personality might be pretty lacking, but it would have intelligence based on the plans and programs already loaded within it.

Well, that's it for me. I gotta go to bed. Gotta get up and get working some tommorrow. Have a good night all.

Actually, I just thought of something cool. What if the android was designed to be EXACTLY like a sentinal, with the same motivation- to take out supers. But that programing was hidden or scrambled (accidentally or not) when he gained conciousness. Now we have a being applying to work beside the Resolutes who may use his time inside the organization gathering data on exactly how to defeat each of his teammates when the time comes! ***Insert "Evil DM" maniacal laughter here***

Now THAT would be interesting.

Anyway, going to bed for real now. Probably dream of this stuff too. Later!

If I would have to play a robot, I would have gone for an asimovian robot, with the three rules of robotics... and supers (heroes and villans) are they humans or not????? That could make interetsing sutuation of roleplay.

I am working on my PL 8 character, slowly, but surely, sort of an Amish Power ranger concept. Might need a little help.

Tell me his codename isn't kingpin and his weapon a bowling ball. I can't wait to see what everyone cooks up.
