Shifters are pretty dishwater-dull, but I just can't bring myself to vote FOR the drow (even though I don't hate them much myself).

Closer then I thought.

And, while the drow are winning, nobody has anything good to say about them.

So...they have a storied history in the game, and are a pure creation of it. A PC race since the original Unearthed Arcana. Massively influential as a game concept, and so overexposed. And their 4E version looks fun to play. And drow is word spelled backwards.

And once, they where cool.
