Ben's eyes change color.

In the earlier parts of the episode, his eyes are dark. I thought that odd, because I thought his eyes were blue. But then at the very end of the episode, his eyes are a bright blue.

I am convinced there are two different men who look like Ben. Or else his eye color signifies some kind of change in him (possession?).

This episode was Lockearific.

So, we have learned the specifics of how Locke was crippled. It did in fact involve his father, but it did not involve a car. Funny, but somehow I thought he was hit by a car.

So, Ben's power and reach includes - apparently - kidnapping people from the States and bringing them to the island.

I wonder if Locke's gonna start doing a scene from Pulp Fiction...

"Were a long way from alright. I'll you watz gonna happen. I'm gonna call my my Iraqi torture buddy, and we're gonna get a DHARMA brand blow torch and a pair of pliers and we're gonna get medieval of Mr. soon to be spending the rest of his short life in agonizing pain Mr. Bad Dad here..."

Heh.

I sill hate Benry and hope terrible things happen to him.

No, it was the magic box. Magic box was clearly stated as producing John's dad.

So, Jacky-boy was just killing time playing around with the pigskin while the sub was getting prepped. See? It all makes perfect sense.

Well, if the story about the box is legit, I want time with it!

Thinking thoughts about Naomie Harris...

But it looks like its gonna be a couple of weeks before we get back to Locke.

A lot of that is likely just lighting/weather....it could be an indicator that certain shots were done on different days. I know several people, including myself, whose eyes appear different colours depending on the day.

Ditto that for the rest of the Others....I'm still waiting for one of the Lost....likely Locke or Sayyid, to get all punitive on these punks, and start knocking them off. I would cheer to see that happen.

There needs to be some form of resolution or progress. They talk about the show having seven planned seasons....assuming it lasts that long, I coiuldn't take four more years of the Others having all the Aces, and the Lost never gaining any ground on them.

Heh. Forget the Iraqis--just let Sawyer get his hands on this guy. He screwed up James' life as bad as Locke's, maybe worse.

Decent episode, though I didn't expect him to have his back broken that way. Also thought him vouching (by denial to the kid) for his "dad" was kind of lame.

How many episodes are left in this season?

Saw it coming.

Remember in Claire's flashback season 2, when she was in one of the hatches, there was a guy in the operating room that everyone said had Lock's father's eyes. A lot of of thought he was always part of Darma, now can you say recuiter? Which, I will make a jump and a leap with the question; where was John Locke born? Yep, I am saying it, he has come home! To top it off, what are the odds he ends up related to Ben!

I enjoyed it.

People who are embarrassed about being taken advantage of, especially if they feel that it was in large part because of their gullibility, rarely own up to it.
