lost control of my spending sphincter yesterday

i would have never wasted so much money on this crap.
well, maybe the mongoose books and the eberron module, but thats it.

Thanks, my wife buys stuff that has my picture splattered through it and then you call that 'wasting money on crap'?

So you are saying that if a card game came out with a card that is obviously an illustration of you, and that is published by your close friend, you would still consider it crap not worth spending money on?

Oy... I had better chill down.

Last few days have been bad for spending, since I've been going from store to store to find some good intro to D&D stuff for my young cousin's birthdya, since he's been bugging me about it lately So, I ended up with, for him:

D&D Adventure Game
3 Core books
Dice

For me....
Iron Kingdoms: Full Metal Fantasy 1
Adventure! d20
Serpent Kingdoms
Dungeon #114
Dungeon #111
Planar Handbook
Shadows of the Last War

Not so much the volume, but they were all big ticket items... And I'm very tempted to go looking up the Monsternomicon now...

Mostly Mini's lately.
Several packs of GOL off of ebay.
Complete Divine and Eberron also within the last couple of weeks.
Holding off now so I can do some GenCon shopping :D

Last weekend

Dundjinni Compleat: Platinum + Campaign mapper

Earlier in the month:

DragonLance Campaign Setting, 2nd copy
DrgonLance: Age of Mortals
Bestiary of Krynn
DL DM's Screen

Next weekend is a pause, but sending money down with friends who will be at Gencon to get me Towers of High Sorcery and War of the Lance hardcover, both promised to be at Gencon at the Sov Press booth.

Hmm, my recent FLGS purchases...

Dungeon #112 & #113.
Dragon #322
D&D Planar Handbook
Horizon: Mechamorphosis

I really want to get my hands on DragonMech. That book looks awsome. Plus, I'm looking forward to getting both the new Blackmoor book and d20 Future. (And I don't even have d20 Modern yet. Just the Modern SRD.)

So how is the new Dragonlance stuff? So far I've held off buying any of it. Mainly I am interested in Bestiary of Krynn.

Cheers!

The important question here is:

Did they make you a cool, rockin' hardcore Solo, or are you a lamo Corp?

Patrick - I'm a "Junk Yard Doc" - A Power 4 Techie (which means I can help keep gear and cyberware from being trashed in combat), with the special ability to give +2 combat power to a weapon (which is pretty good, most weapons only give a +2 combat power or so to begin with). The other cool side is the card is a common, so we have about a dozen or so of the card now. I'm considering making them into business cards.

Some months, I'm not even sure I have a spending sphincter -- it's just like a big, wide tube down there...

...down there in my wallet. Get your mind out of the gutter! ;)

In any case, I tightened my gaming budget in July by only buying one new item, and picking everything else up used:

- Counter Collection 5: Summoned Monsters (the new item -- and it rocks!)
- The old Atlas of the Forgotten Realms
- Delta Green (for Coc -- an absolute steal at $8!)
- Tome of Horrors 2
- Creatures of Freeport
- Book of Fiends
- Dangerous Denizens: The Monsters of Tellene
- Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary

The monster books all came from JoeGKushner's fantastic sale over in the Marketplace forum, and I can't wait until they arrive in the mail. :)

Nice.

That would be a good idea, I think. Business cards need a good hook. My "Script Ninja" business cards drummed up all sorts of contacts and business.

A techie one, with pro card art, would be a real winner.
