lost control of my spending sphincter yesterday

I took a trip to Chicago this weeked, had my first cab ride, my first trolley ride, and bought the Planar Handbook, and was finally able to get Anger of Angels.

Oh my god. Wow. Holy cow.

Talk about almost custom written for my homebrew, researched far better than I have ever been able to do, and done nearly the exact way I would have done things. I want to send Sean a basketfull of cookies.

It was a splurge because I bought two books in one month :P

Holding out for now (desperately)

I intend to get the Expanded Psionics Handbook, but am waiting desperately for the Abberations set for D&D Miniatures, as well as Frostburn and Libris Mortis.

Hellhound! You looked so natural!

Which one are you again?

Hopefully this works... the servers at Sympatico get flaky about the wwwX part of the address sometimes.

Edit: I just noticed that I'm wearing a "HOUND" name tag in the pic too.

Kick and Ass.

IK:FMF (still won't believe its real until i get it!)
Planar Handbook
M&M Annual #1

All within the last week

Not much of a splurge, i'm afraid. I've been offloading more books than i have been buying lately.

To heck with CyberPunk cards! I'm still waiting to use my Netrunner cards! :(

I was planning on a major buying splurge after the new Paranoia and Conan 2nd printing came out, but my house decided to develop a major (flooding) leak in the upstairs toilets seal. It leaked for over a month since my house is empty due to my wife being in the Army and us being stationed on the west coast (house is in Charleston, SC). So I have a $500.00 deductible and a plumbers bill to cover before I go on my splurge.

Other things I want to get:

Libris Mortis
Pantheons and Pagan Faiths
Magical Medievel Societies book 2 (can't remember actual title)
Complete Book of Eldritch Might
Goods and Gear (haven't bought any of these types of books yet and this looks like the best yet)

Plus others, but I plan on keeping this under $300 (US) when I actually get around to doing it.

Well, since my ex-wife remarried a month ago I have celebrated the lack of an alimony payment by buying about $140 worth of D&D minis (though two boosters were bought with a birthday gift certificate from a friend). The rest of my gaming spending has been pretty stable, and will probably continue thus until I have a better idea of what my monthly income and budget is going to be.

Sphincter? I barely know her!

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is an example of "Thread titles that get your thread read." :D
