I actually liked last week's episode. Claire had a good idea with the birds. And it's nice that she's standing by Charlie.
I have to say, I was getting pretty despondent about the show in the last few weeks, but the last 2-3 episodes seem to be picking things up. The whole thing with Sayyid, Kate, Locke, and the Frenchwoman actually *doing* something is long overdue.
Kind of weird seeing the preview for next week. Jack is all buddy-buddy with them. Unless he's playing both sides or something, it sure seems like it didn't take him long to turn. Though, it seems a little too obvious, so there must be something more to the situation.
Something I'm curious about though...last week, the guy with the patch mentioned that the Dharma Initiative had arrived on the island, and been attacked by people who were there *before* them. The Others, based on what we've seen of Nathan etc. in the flashbacks of that blonde Others woman seem to indicate that the Others were openly recruiting for the island only in the last few years....unless Nathan and her were relatively new recruits. But the Dharma Initiative videos seem to indicate that the DI was there back in the 60's or 70's I'd think. Something with the timeline seems rather odd.
Interesting, the idea of Claire being Jack's half-sister. Of course, they'll probably never put two and two together. Have they ever showed Jack to be carrying around a photo of his father? Claire didn't get his name, so without a photo, and the coincidence of her seeing it, there's no way they'll ever realize. Thankfully she's not a romantic interest for Jack in the show
