Hefting the last guard into the alleyway, Charity stands in the shade, peering out. "I'm not sure what 'getting home to Venza business' you are referring to, you seem to be the first to mention it. If that's your goal, thank you for your assistance, it was good to band together for a common cause, and best wishes on your return home."

The young Cortesian cocks her head towards the others, thinking. After a short pause, Charity continues speaking, "Hunh. We did learn one thing. They called us rebels. The most obvious reason for use of this label is when one faces a rebellion. Is that the case here? And if so, can we find it?" Stepping down the alleyway and further into the city, she clarifies, "We should move. One thing is for sure, they will be back and we do not want to be here." With that, the woman steps up her pace.

Francis shoots Charity a look most puzzled, and begins to frantically ask some questions. "What's all this talk about rebellion? Don't you want to go home? Why did you come here? Why do you want to stay?" The halfling makes sure the snake is back at home hidden in his hair, and mounts his war pig. Even though he spoke about leaving, he follows the group through the alleys, clearly interested in continuing the conversation.

I am Aishe." She gives the little Halfling a playful wink. "We're here on business, and our business is not complete. No reason not to have a little fun while we're here, though, hey? Want to tag along?"

~ Day 19, mid-afternoon: Ashore Yarendel ~

There was nothing special on the guards. They each has gold and silver coins in their pockets, except for the captain. He had some royal medals that showed his rank that could be worth something. The captain also had some identification papers that were now stained with blood. Each of the guards also had an everburning torch on their person for night patrols.

The guards had some masterwork weapons too. But there was not much time to even gather those up and dragging the bodies.

There were witnesses to your murder of the guards and there was a bell now ringing in response to the whistle being blown. Reinforcements could be arriving any moment.

Francis gathers what he can from the guards, specifically the medals, papers, and gold. His ears perk up when he hears the alarm bells. "Gah! The jig is up! The way I see it we have three choices."

"One. Head for the mountains. Find our way to the castle.
Two. Quickly seek refuge in a house. Hopefully with someone supportive. If not, I'll make them that way.
Three. I saw a rather serendipitously placed ladder to what I'm assuming the underground. Don't really know how to get my useless pig down there though.

Red hair shifting side to side, Charity sighs. "Almost the same options we had before, two of them, at least. More contact with random locals is a recipe for bloodshed, which leaves heading for the mountains or hitting the sewers. I'm prepared for either." She stops speaking, but continues to move along. "As for your pig, grease him up and release him into the town. Hours of fun for them and a great distraction for us." Something about the delivery of that last part seems lacking in sincerity, perhaps the young woman's cheshire grin.
