Pathfinder 1E [LPF] Roughy River Run

Fhanna continues to fiercely stare down the once happily sleeping ogre. An ogre that is now completely enraged and thrashing about in the river. He continues to be set ablaze, but luckily for him he is still standing in the river so the flames go out rather quickly.

And right after that moment, a hound pops into this plane from the spell-doings of Sylvain. With a grating bark, the pooch rushes in towards the ogre at the riverside and manages to latch onto his thigh. Once more, the ogre offers forth a deafening howl. If he wasn't mad before he surely is now.

Sylvain steps forward, grabs his bow, knocks an arrow, and fires. The arrow sails behind the ogre, and it is unclear of where it has landed. Perhaps he missed because of the fracas in the water, or maybe just because it has been a long while since he has had a chance to shoot a bow.

Now, back to the furious ogre. He keeps on getting set on fire, and how there is a dog nipping at his heels. Being that the dog is the creature in the closest proximity, he goes after that first. Without too much trouble at all, he easily grabs the dog by the scruff of the neck and punches it square in the snout. The pummel hit with such tremendous force, the dog's neck instantly snapped and it died.

The ogre lumbers out of the river, back to where he was found sleeping. He bends over to pick up his giant greatclub, and points at the heroes. And smiles. A smile full of rage and anger. Oh, and revenge.

First Post

After stupidly shooting past the nose of the Ogre and seeing him snap the favoured summoned dog to shreds (not without taking a bite or two the valiant beast) Sylvain cooly redraws his bow, nocks (an arrow, not on the ogres head) and lets fly for it.

[section]Fhanna continues her ocular assault on the poor once-sleeping ogre. Again he burns, again he bellows, again he catches on fire, again he roars. Seros gets out and readies his sling. Sylvain almost gets the ogre with his arrow, but perhaps the calamity of it all caused the arrow to sail a brownie's nose wide.

The ogre, at the height of his fury, picks up his greatclub and hurries back to the river. Again, the flames are doused.

GM: Ammunition: Projectile weapons use ammunition: arrows (for bows), bolts (for crossbows), darts (for blowguns), or sling bullets (for slings and halfling sling staves). When using a bow, a character can draw ammunition as a free action; crossbows and slings require an action for reloading (as noted in their descriptions). Generally speaking, ammunition that hits its target is destroyed or rendered useless, while ammunition that misses has a 50% chance of being destroyed or lost.

Lol God forbid a primarily melee PC should do miniscule damage to a big, hard hitting bag of hp! Given the way slings are designed, you might as well just run around with it always on your finger. Wouldn't even interfere with other weapons. That's what my gnome barbarian does. What would we do if she did d3 damage!
