Black Dragon Helm of Resistance
This Black, horned helm is a 2 slot item; helm and visor (but a single item) that includes:
Base helm is Helm of resistance +2. Plus it gives a +4 will save bonus vs. fear effects (based on remove fear spell).
Visor gives "Blindsight" as per the Magic of Faerun 3rd level spell based on Echolocation (silence negates). Move equivalent to lower the visor by unlatching a hinge turns it on (this is so the visor doesn't lower by accidental violent movements). Two uses per day. Each use last one hour and may be turned off as a move equivalent (but the full hour charge is still used up). Also, has an eye slot that may be closed to shield the eyes (vs. gaze attacks) as a move equivalent.
COST: 4,000 (+2 resistance) + 3,000 (Blindsight visor) + 1,500 (Fear resistance +4) = 8,500 market.
The blindsight cost works out like this: 3 x 5 x 1000 x 2 / 5 = 6,000 / 2 (limitations: part of another item as two slots and only one hour charges instead of 5 hours as per caster level) = 3,000 gold.
The Fear resistance is 75% of normal due to being a similar power to the primary resistance power.
