Magic Item question

Hawkeye

First Post
With everything that I have read over the last few years, I would almost swear that such an item exists, but I can't seem to find it.

Is there an item that allows non monk characters to use Improved unarmed strike with the base damage and advantage as a 1st level monk. (1d6 points of damage and automatically non-subdula damage). If I am mis-remembering, what would such an item cost?

Closest thing I can think of are bracers of striking from MaoF. They don't give you the 1d6 damage, but they do give you the improved unarmed strike feat, as well as allow you to place weapon enhancements on them.

Actually Magic of Faerun has an item very close to what's asked:
Ring of Might (MaOF, 4,000 gp : provides Improved Unarmed Strike feat and unarmed attacks do 1d8 normal damage)
I've used it for a Barbarian brawler, but when switching to 3.5 it was better to take a Monk level than a Bbn level (what with Improved Grapple and all...)
