I would like to propose to my DM a magic item to embed in my warforged character. The item in question would increase the bonus granted by a successful aid another. As I imagine it, the item adds a swiss-army tool quality to the warforged. For example, if the healer was treating a wound, the warforged could, with a successful aid another, put a small magnifying glass in front of her to assist her in cleaning the wound.
I apologize pre-emptively for asking someone else to do my homework, but I'm not as well-read in 4e as I'd like to be. That said, I understand if posters are not inclined to do it for me. The second, third and fourth questions are for those posters. Enough with the pre-amble. My questions to this wise community are:
How would you describe such an item?
What level would this item be? More specifically, what's the lowest level it could be?
If said item were to increase in levels like many items to, from +1 to +6, what level would the +1 version be? Or would you rather introduce it as a fixed level item?
If said item could not be used in combat, how would that change your above answers?
