Magik weapon Bonus damage dice

Have you run any calculations of how this can change if Power Attack is used? My guess is that a straight +4 weapon will end up being better in many situations for a player with PA, especially if it is two-handed.
Nope, haven't done it. I just ran the calculations on the fly as I was writing the post. But the +4 weapon should be better for power attacking, since it does less damage per hit (the advantage is in hitting more often) and has a higher attack bonus. Then again, I doubt that power attacking any of these monsters in the first place is useful.

But there's no reason they should be different.
Different abilities, different action to activate. If it were just saying the word that did it, it would be a free action...
-Hyp.

I can see one word activating several functions on a single item, though rods and staffs would be a bit powerful, to be sure.

But ten wands duct-taped together are still ten items.

GMW goes a long way toward making straight plusses weaker then elemental bonuses.

IMC elemental bonus deal +1d4 damage and can be taken multiple times (ie +3d4 fire instead of having 3 1d4 elements). GMW has also had its duration greatly reduced, but I don't think that will stop people from taking elemental enchantments.
