Now who wouldn't ;)?
Well... me, for one! :)

I consider FFVIII to be the most wretched in the series - the draw system is among the worst piece of bile I've ever experienced. On the upside, FFVIII has one of the best stories, so I had to slog through the tremendously bad gameplay to get to the tremendously awesome story sequences.

I never did finish it, as I was going through my professional program at that point, and ended mid-way through Disc 2. I'll play it in the future after I finish my even older stuff (which I also didn't get to at the time, due to university and then said program).

I just cleared most of the games on my plate, so I'm not actually playing anything right now. I guess I will kill time playing a lot of stuff on my giant stack of old games I never completed (which goes all the way back to FF6 for the SNES), at least until a week from now.

I imagine that once I own and start playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I will end up playing that for the rest of the month. I never really stopped playing Smash Bros. Melee (last time I played it was the day before yesterday, after all), so I am really looking forward to this game. The only thing that might distract me from the game would be the low chance of me being able to afford an Xbox 360 and the games Lost Odyssey and Devil May Cry 4.

Still playing Swords of the New World. It's starting to get a little boring now, but I just hit 70th. Only 50 more levels to go.

I also just bought Medieval II: Total War Gold. I was shocked the install took 11 gigabytes! I haven't played it much because my PC struggles a bit with the battles (though ironically, Rome runs too fast on it to play) and because ever since getting broadband (such as it is), I feel guilty using my computer and not using the internet for something broadbandish (especially since I'm paying $70 a month for it).

Am looking forward to Wild Arms XF for the PSP. Hex based tactical RPG set in the Wild Arms universe. Comes out next week.

My 360 will arrive tomororw.

Its coming with Bioshock, Mass Effect and Guitar Hero 2 but I'm open to suggestions.

The Orange Box is worth a look as well. I'd pay $50.00 for Portal alone, and it only took me about 4 hours to finish. It truly is a triumph, a huge success. Fortunately, I'm still alive.

Call of Duty 4 is an awesome FPS. The single player story was compelling, and the online gameplay is awesome.

I also really enjoyed Assassin's Creed. Despite what some reviewers say, it's gorgeous and fun.

Pixel Junk Monsters - PS3
Rock Band - PS3
Super Smash Bros Brawl - Wii
Galactic Civ II - PC
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance - PS2 (with SO)

I really want to get back into FFXII, Crackdown & Marvel: UA ... but I just can't seem to do it.

I a playing Warhammer 40K: Soulstorm. I also have lying around Perry Rhodan and Universe at War, but for now, the Soulstorm campaign mode has sucked me in - and I haven't even gotten to the Dark Eldar yet!

I am also considering getting Assassin's Creed and a Need for Speed Title (any suggestions? Which is the best/most recent?), but considering the other two games lying around, I think I should wait a while.
must... resist... urge... to... buy... shiny!
