Oh I'll pick it up and watch it again, but like Reloaded I don't think it will have the replay value that the original Matrix has for me.

I'll be waiting to pick up the trilogy boxed set. No matter how much I disliked the second 2 (especially Reloaded) I do want to see them again. I enjoyed The Matrix more upon further viewings so I'm hoping the same will hold true for the sequels.

I'd like to see it again. While I enjoyed it in the theater I was also let down. If I hadn't been expecting amazing mega kung-fu and action in the Matrix, and a different ending I think I would have liked it a lot. What I got was more giant robot battle suit action, non matrix stuff, and an ending that kind of blew IMO. Still if I wasn't expecting something like Reloaded then I would have been quite happy I'm sure as I like giant robot battle armor vs metallic squids of death type movies.

P.S. Reloaded was a great action flick!!!

Joel Silver has said that the box set will happen with a new transfer of the original film included. I'll be buying that and I am more than willing to wait for it. Too many other DVDs to buy.

Cover art is bad, yes. However, I've been putting off buying anything until the DVD boxed set comes out. My Matrix (VHS) is wearing thin, but haven't bought it on DVD waiting with bated breath for the boxed set. Has anyone heard anything on it?

Yeah, I think I'll take my copy of 1 & 2 to trade in someplace soon, and just wait for the trilogy box.
