Thanks for that! Not sure why they don't stick that on their RSS feed...

Hrmm...at the bottom of the page, they have:
Please note: The pdfs in the Rules Update Archive have been updated at the end of this month (April 29) to reflect these changes.

The pdf list echoes this, so either they haven't updated the pdfs yet, or they need to update the month :p

I am honestly confused as to the change to the goggles. Reborn champion and the orb deserved it though.

I thought this was rather odd myself. Sure at level 1 they were a solid choice to increase your perception, but a daily power that caused you to burn an encounter power, even outside of combat was pretty balanced. Dark Vision is just highly over rated in the days of near infinite sunrods.

Yeah, Wizards puts a lot of weight on special vision types like Darkvision. I mean I recognize how useful darkvision actually is, but it's not so great that it's worth a daily power and a level 11 item. At least they are being consistent and ultimately, that's all we can ask for.

They were always clearly too good for a level 1 item - giving twice the bonus plus a power compared to the Headband of Perception. And the power was a bit too free about what you could expend, since giving up a low-level daily utility for all-day Darkvision was not bad.

Still, given they fixed that option, I don't know if they needed to go to 11, but if it is part of a desire to keep darkvision out of Heroic, I guess I can understand it.

I think, that it is good that not everyone besides humans and halflings has darkvision now...

but i actually wished, that darkvision had a range once again... like blindsight etc. Or at least the possibility of attaching a range to it. I thought it was flavourful, that derros had terrible darkvision for a race that lives underground...

Back in 2e I remember infravison that bright lights hurt you and you had a range... 30ft 60ft 90ft or drow had 120ft... It was great for "I can Sade you but you can't see me" tactics

Hey, they stole my zombie fix! I thought it was silly that the grab attack didn't do any damage. Early on before making the change, when using zombies, I always thought, I can grab this guy for no damage, or I can punch him in the face. 99% of the time, I punch him in the face. So I changed the grab attack to do just a bit less damage than the basic attack. Glad to see the designers are catching up with my changes from a couple years ago.
