Ola!

If you have an interest, please respond in this thread using the following format:

(1) I am willing to DM/GM. I would prefer to run <insert game system/genre>.

(2) I would prefer to DM/GM a morning slot/afternoon slot/no preference.

(3) I am/am not willing to help organize/schedule/coordinate the game day.

(4) I think the best location for such an event is _____________ .
Ola,

(1) I am willing to DM. I would prefer to run D&D 3.5 or 3.0 (preferably Epic level)

(2) I have no preference as to when I would DM.

(3) I am willing to help organize the game day.

(4) I think Northern VA would be the best location. Maybe at a local game store like the "Game Parlor" to keep the cost down.

The Chantilly store is about 10 minutes from where I live and it is a great store. However, it totally bones the MD crowd.

Sadly, my contribution to a game day would be to pop in and be envious of all the fun for five minutes.

(1) I am willing to DM/GM. I would only run D&D 3.5.

(2) I would prefer to DM/GM a morning slot/afternoon slot/no preference.

(3) I am not willing to help organize/schedule/coordinate the game day.

(4) I think the best location for such an event is George Mason University or the Annandale campus of Northern Virginia Community College (its right off the beltway).

Depending on the final size (20 or less), you could also try the Game Palor in Chantilly. Also there was a game shop down route 1 in south Alexandria that had a bit of space, but not certain of its name “Eagle & Empire” perhaps? Its been many years since I have been down that way.

Saturday or Sunday is fine with me.

I would love to play/help organize such an event. My problem (and this is a recurring thing) is that I am never able to play on Saturdays. Which is why I can never go to anything:)

Looks like another fun game day missed by me.

Wooo Hooo!!

(1) I am willing to DM/GM. I would prefer to run AD&D 3.0/3.5.

(2) no preference.

(3) I am willing to help organize/schedule/coordinate the game day. If we all pitch in it becomes so much easier.

(4) I think the best location for such an event is NoVA. George Mason is a bit out there for the MD crowd too, perhaps we could snag a NVCC spot for such an event.

And don't forget to harass the DCRPG yahoo group people and see about coordinating with some of the area Cons.

Thanks for the replies...

Does anyone have an "in" at either George Mason or NVCC? I agree that both would be good locations, but I don't have contacts at either.

Anyone, anyone, Buehler?

Thanks in advance,

~ Old One

Hmmm... try one of these:

Feel free to subscribe, as the activity is typically low and doesn't cram your inbox with spam.

As far as a location, let me ask around and I'll try to get back when I can. Perhaps I can score an empty office renovation site, but we would have to bring chairs & tables.

I'm in.

1> willing to play in almost any game, might be willing to GM something.

2> if I were to GM I'd probably want to do a morning slot, not sure why, but it seems like the thing to do.

3> willing to help organize. I hold game days in my apartment every so many months that routinely bring in about 20 people, mostly it's board games, but some RP so that experience might prove helpful.

4> I'd prefer somewhere just north of DC if possible. I'll check around and see what I can learn and get back about it.

Anyone needing to email me please use (tortoise at comcast dot net).
