sorry - didn't see you two were ready :(

The judges have no doubt as to which move was better.

MidKnight

First Post
"This ends now villain!!"

MidKnight presses the attack!

The ki-rin aggresively devours the madlands; scatters the slash of the rain!

The walls of the room become blurry, as if mist was rising from the bones of the dead. The only thing that Kerall can see now is his foe, and the hourglass... one ready to strike him down and the other looming with the massive weight of inexorability. All noises feel dampened to the villain, except for the laughter of the fiend...

The chimera kicks the prairie; waves away the energy of the rain!

Again the judges have little doubt...

Point and Match to MidKnight

Kerall Your loss has cost you much face in the eyes of your men and they desert you. You are no longer master of the plains but are now a DB 1.

MidKnight You have defeated a villain and grown stronger. You are now a brown belt 1 and the heads of many dojos look to you with respect.

MidKnight

First Post
Bowing to the judges, MidKnight thanks them and wishes them well.

He then turns to Kerall. "Perhaps your demon lord overestimates your skill. If your will is strong and your heart pure then maybe you should seek out Nikodemus and repent before him."

MidKnight gives Kerall a short bow and turns to take his leave of the villain.

The mist grows and grows, until nothing else can be seen. When it vanishes, the two warriors (and GD and the judges as well) are back in front of MidKnight's tower. Kerall lies on the ground; MidKnight is the winner. The ganger that came to spy MidKnight with Kerall glances at the scene wild-eyed for a moment and then flees. He will undoubtedly go to the gang's encampment to report the defeat of its leader.

But Kerall isn't even thinking about that. The terror in his mind is such that he barely notices the pain in his body. The image of a huge hourglass counting the precious few days left is the only thing before his eyes.

"Is there no way out?"

OOC: and yet another proof that I'm no good at strategy matches :D
