Mithrill and Adamantine

I have a question on how these metals change the properties of weapons, armor and possibly other items.

I tried looking for these in the dmg but couldn't find any conclusive awnser.

Check the "Special Materials" section of Chapter 8 (Magic Items). It's on pages 242 and 243 and provides a quite detailed coverage of anything you need to know about mithral, adamantine and darkwood.

Yeppers, they did a pretty good job on it too, the section on spellbooks is great too.
