They've got everything. There's a reason (beyond all the good company) that folks like JD and I make the trip a couple times yearly!!

Columbus Gamedays are just dead. Every now and then I look around for somethign place to have them but I can't find anything that's free and big enough. MAybe if I can convince my sister to take a trip I can use her house, but I think she'd be rather upset if I did

Life is going good. Lots of gaming, getting out more and enjoying the weather. How about yourself and Alex? If you guys ever make it doewn to Orgins drop me a line before hand, we have a Sunday afternoon cookout for people.

Too bad about the Gamedays, I had fun at both of those which I attended.

As for Origins, I appreciate the invite, but until they juggle the dates I doubt I'll be able to make one. Our family has a standing week of vacation right around the 4th of July every year, which makes Origins all but impossible to attend.

That's great. As an uncle you have to get her her first set of dice. If you can find them, they have some big dice that can't be swallowed and that are not hard plastic so they don't hurt much when thrown. My friends kids have a set.

Alex and my sister have spoiled my two boys with dice and HeroClix, D&D minis and Star Wars figures galore. Now it's my turn to play the role of fun uncle QB.

Of course it is about monsters, we are talking about kids. Last summer I also got the kid one odf those stuffed d20s, perfectly soft a few inches across so good sized. He loves it. It was only 5 dollars so it made a nice buy.
