Monsters new to 3E?

I'm pretty confident that the allip didn't appear in any Ravenloft source. As far as I can tell, allips are new to 3rd Edition.

i'm still doing this off the top of my head.

do you own the trading cards? i think one of them with the Ravenloft edging from around 1992 or so.

Yes, I have those, except for the ones that weren't in the 1993 Factory Set (muttermumble).

The allip wasn't on any of the trading cards, at least according to this handy index of the cards.

another source to check is Elminster's Ecologies from 2edADnD. the one with the undead squirrels. i can't remember the name of it at the moment.

the flavor text of the allip is very similar to the poltergeist from 1edADnD. the one from the A series... A2 i think. eventually ended up in a hardback. heck even the gibbering mouther has some of the qualities (insanity)
