Story wise earning the "Peace Bond Weapons" could be a rank thing within their organization and the whole party gets them at level 6 or some such. We might even slow advancement so the time before they are available feels a bit more significant. *or the opposite start em out with heirlooms.

Absolutely, but even in a Story Now context it might be a bit extreme... I mean you'd certainly be ASKING for that interesting adversary, no doubt, but then what?

Storywise I am assuming these peace makers are like a police force and some types of bad guys actually get jailed others might be magically banished with rituals. Some moved to nature preserves ... or maybe they are templars and they are sent to capture enemies to operate as slave war tools.


  • We might have enemies without language or treating the pacifiers as sirens especially if a lot of them end up bards and wearing simple/special ear plugs. (that +5 could still important )
  • We might have monsters that can eat an ally minion to undo a condition which save ends...
  • We might have battles where trivially taking out one of many doesn't matter or the one they want to take out shows up after they have spent the item daily.
