Most likable PrC

Well, if you can't tell from my review, I am really taken by the new Masters of Arms book. There are lots of neat classes, but I especially like the precision sword master, glaive master, dual sai master, and alpha beast.

Other favorites:
Ghostwalker (S&F)(good hero or villain)
Blade dancer (OA)(good wuxia-esque hero)
Acolyte of the Flesh (T&B)(great villain)
Dark Minstrel (LE1)(great moody villain or tragic hero)
True Necromancery (T&B) (nice compromise on the arcane vs. divine necromancer issue)
Dying (Undead)(Great moody, tragic hero)
Wasteland Druid (Undead)(A nice twisted villain)
Helliann (The tatooed witches in R&R 2)(Best take on a tatooed mage type class I have seen yet. Complete with the "improved excuse for scantily clad sorceresses" feat. :) )

Well not many from WotC I can tell you that.

How about you not bash WotC in this thread and instead contribute to the topic and see how it feels?

Besides, there's like, 3000 different prestige classes by WotC. There has to be something you like...

Dragon Disciple would be my choice.
While I like the idea of turning into a half dragon, I've always felt that entirely giving up on new spells made it a fairly poor choice for sorcerers, who need all the new spells they can get.

IMO, the concept would have been better served with a 5-level PrC.

IOC we give +1 spell casting every other level and take away the size increase. Not perfect but agreed on by the PC and the DM.

and I agree about the 5 level PRC.

Psion, I didn't see this in your review - what's the split in Masters of Arms between 5 and 10 level PrCs?

Also, if you don't mind, could you give a little more info on the precision sword master?

Uhm scue me? I just said I DIDN'T like MOST of them. People want an opinion, I gave it. If you want to know which ones I like, mainly the CORE ones. Everything else a little much for me or just poorly designed. Blackguard, Assasin, Loremaster, Arcane Archer, Dwarven Defender, and Shadowdancer are about all I really want or need.

Btw you are right on both counts Psion, about the Helliann. :)
