MP2 Style Feats are delicious candy to my Chainfighter

Isn't the feat worded such that you can only slide the target 1 square if it ends adjacent to you?

Whenever you hit an enemy with a power associated with this feat, you slide that enemy 1 square to a square adjacent to you.

So if you hit a creature that's 3 squares away from you since you have reach, you wouldn't get to slide it at all, since you're to slide it adjacent to you, you'd have to slide it 2 squares.

Oh, sure, but as long as you're playing a fighter (who -wants- all the monsters adjacent to you), that's not a huge drawback. After all, if you're taking powers and feats that extend your reach past 2, you can also wear Rushing Cleats and grab class features that improve all your slides, too.

I don't have anything to extend my reach further on a regular basis. But yeah, as mneme mentioned, there are items and feats to help with that. The character's built around a Reach of 2; any more, and the Fighter features become increasingly hard to use.

That's not the main draw between these two feats, though. I'm thinking Midnight Blade style is way more abusive with the Spiked Chain multiclass feat.
