Multiple Sneak Attacks?

thundershot

If a high level Rogue went first in battle, and had, say 3 attacks per round, and the opponent is flat-footed (obviously), would the sneak attack damage be with EACH attack, or just the first? I had assumed it was only the first attack, but someone pointed out that it says "as long as they opponent is denied his dex bonus"...

Sorry if this has already been covered to death, but the search function doesn't work here anymore...

Thanks!

Yes, they would all be sneak attacks. Beware of high-level hasted two-weapon fighting rogues.

(And, yes, "covered to death" is probably an accurate representation :))

I dream of there being some way to teach the software to automatically reply to this question when it is asked. There is no reason why actual humans need to be involved in this question once a week. No offense intended to the poster, who is indeed one of a long, long line of people to find himself in this position.

But...can you sneak attack someone who has been Mind Blanked?

PS Yes, I know you can sneak attack someone who is Mind Blanked, but I couldn't resist another Mind Blank reference :p :p :p

LOL!

[HUMOR] Since a sneak attack affect the targets emotions ("OMFG, That Hurts!!!!" and also by having a fear effect "He hit me for HOW much???!!???"), I would say that Mind Blank does indeed protect against being sneak attacked.

After all, it is the "ultimate in defensive spells".[/HUMOR]

I don't read all of the notes... Usually only when something looks really interesting. Plus, the issue hasn't come up because with multiple groups, the Rogue JUST got more than one attack... So... take it easy on me. <rolling around on the ground trying to extinguish the flames> :D

And "Search" was the first thing I thought of, and it was disabled... :P

Thanks
Chris

Hey, I'm with you on this one. I really miss the search functionality on the rules forum. Most questions that you might have are answered on this forum, IF you can find them.

I did suggest turning on the search functionality only for the rules forum in the meta forum but until they are sure that they have the performance issues under control I doubt it will happen....

Actually, I don't think anyone is *really* upset with you. If you hang around on these boards long enough, you just start to see the same questions come up, over, and over, and over, and over, and.....

BTW - if you don't have it, download the DNDFAQ from WotC website. Lots of FAQs in it.
