I was thinking of having my PC craft an adamantite Masterwork sword -- what would the plusses be?
A "normal", say, greatsword, could be made.
Would it be +2 (large adamantite weapon)?
Adding in masterwork, it becomes +3 to hit, +2 damage. Of course, these are the same type of bonuses (enhancment), so they would not stack. Right? So they are both +2. So what is the difference between a MW and non-MW adamantite weapon, other than paying an extra 300 gp for the right to pay 8000 gp for enchantments that are no better than what you've got?
Is their any rule that bonuses from weapon materials stacks with bonuses from weapon quality?
