Well, write some reviews for the database amigo. Share your thoughts. Let people know about 'em.

I wouldn't dare write a review on what I have seen so far. One day of drooling over art and a few cool mechanics ain't enough. Given some time, I may try a review or three. :)

As far as shipping, mine arrived at my Parent's house yesterday (decided to ship them back there to make sure I get them for the Holidays). Now tonight I get to drive home and sit down with Portals and Planes, Mosnter's Handbook, Wildscapes, Path of the Sword and Path of Faith. Of course a few of those I actually won't read, they go to my players (Wildscapes for my brother and his halfling druid, Path of Sword for our monk, and either Monster's Handbook or Path of Faith for the other player), but still, that's a nice haul.

I'm guessing the Legens & Lairs series is probably done, but Midnight seems here to stay. More products are on the horizon, and a revised edition of the setting book is rumored. I just hope they don't make it into a stand-alone d20 game.

Midnight is still steaming ahead.

Unfortunate, however, since I really have no interest in running a midnight game.

I tend to forget Midnight, as I really don't have any interest in it, either. I don't like that hopeless atmosphere. Anyway, the end of the Legends & Lairs series makes sense, because this is the meadow WotC is now grazing on ;).

Did any of you folks getting books get a shipment confirmation? I never got one and have yet to see my books.

I didn't get any confirmation, either. I just saw the money disappear from my account ;).

I never got a message saying the books were sent but my books arrived on Monday. I was very pleased to get a few more of their books that I had yet to pick up.

Write reviews!! That ghoes to everyone, the more reviews we get the better it is for everyone!!

I think the stakes are a bit high for these, and rightly so. For me, it would probably take a whole day to write a single review, and my English isn't that good that it makes much sense ;).

I suppose, others have similar reasons for not writing anything.

All I ask is people give it a try once and see how it goes. It might turn out easier then you think, and you don't have to review these books per say, you could review books you have used for years and have a clear opinion on.

Not that unfortunate Psion :) Some of us are very partial to Midnight, I disagree with some too that say its a setting that feels too Hopeless... I think by design the setting portrays games as being far more "heroic" in emphasis than many settings, as you know in Midnight every success your adventures win you ..means something significant!

Anyway.. back on topic
I agree with the statements of many people here that FFG produce some great books, they have since Dragonstar was first released been one of my favourite companies and all the guys at FFG are great folks and really support the fans who support them, which is nice.

I hope they dont give up on the D20 market as they're very good at producing quality products for it.. as pointed out though products for Midnight are shceduled all through next year..so if anything its likely to be a refinement in what they produce as opposed to an exclusion..

I DO hold out hopes they'll expand Mechamorphosis into a nice hardbound 256 page setting/RPG somewhere down the line as that would make me very very happy.
I also hold out hope a 2nd Edition Dragonstar setting would rear its head too as it would be a true shame for that setting to disappear into the roleplaying annuls without further comment.
