My psionic Ravenloft kender samurai pirate is ... confused

My players mocked Kobolds. Then they ran into a very special group of them...

-Winged Kobold Fighter 10. Two of those that would fly around and rain arrows.

-Half-Air Elemental Kobold Rogue 8. Four of them that enjoyed using gaseous form and disappearing in the cracks in the floor then reapparing behind the PCs.

-Half-Illithid Kobold Sorcerer 12. The leader. Self explanatory.

My PCs now fear Kobolds run by me(as I also had a few 'normal' minions that were simple Kobolds with class levels and some seriously evil tactics).

I made a pregen PC for a con -
Cleric(spring)1/ Bard 1/ rogue 1/fighter 2/ ex-paladin 2 (NG vareint) who had just fallen in love with a mage and was learing magic(sorcery).
nickname 'bubblehead' she had a story driven reason for every change and while not actually useless was somewhat ineffective. But fun to RP :) She had actually lost her paladinhood because she had forgotten one of the major codes of conduct.

the party also had a Daredevil climber (bard7) with no ranks in perform.

My PCs generally end up with 3-5 classes by the time I hit 20th level, but I don't play as much as GM anymore.

Offhand, I can't recall ever playing a truly off the wall character who had a totally incongruous race/class or multiclass combo, though.

Well, once I played a Human Cleric 5/Bard 1/Wizard 1/Loremaster 3/Contemplative 2/Barbarian 1/Exotic Weapon Master 1/Human Paragon 2 in a campaign that lasted a little more than a year.

In a 2nd Edition game we had a spelljamming Kender Sha'ir who ended up being a planewalker and travelling the outer planes with a party from the Realms, and developed a Wild Talent eventually after meeting an Athasian telepath and having Psychic Surgery performed.

Elven Barbarian1 Bard4 Ranger1 Fighter2 Deepwood Sniper1 Arcane Archer1. He raged to get the full strength bonus of his composite longbow (this was 3.0).

I thought the DM was insane to allow it.

Why? I can't imagine this...thing... was very much better than a normal Fighter who became a Deepwood Sniper and/or Arcane Archer (both of those together actually make sense to me as well) The Bard/Barbarian/Ranger stuff really weakens this character. Fighter would have gotten him all his feats and weapon specialization to boot. What a waste.
