NE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Tarterian Dragon vs. Adult Ethereal Dragon

Round 200: The desiccator pounds the camel, almost in the same spot. (Rolled natural 20, 13 crit roll) 4 points of damage. The camel is not fatigued (rolled 25 Fort save), but it is disabled.

The camel makes one last attack, but is too shocked by the desiccator's fury to be effective. It makes a feeble attempt to kick and falls to the ground. (Rolled natural 1)

The desiccator can position itself in round 201 before the next opponent arrives.

I considered that...

The desiccator remains where it is, seething with anger at the fact that it was not allowed to drain the fluids from the camel.

Round 201

A humanoid with pale gray skin enters the arena. He has thin white hair, but more peculiar are his blank white eyes and just a hint of a nose and mouth. His limbs are gangly and slightly misproportioned. He wears a chain shirt, keeps a rapier sheathed at his side, and holds a loaded light crossbow.

Without expression but with grace, he takes a 5 foot step to 30N115E, fires, and reloads.

The bolt penetrates the desiccator's parched skin. (Rolled 18-2 for long range = 16)

8 points of damage! The desiccator has 18 hp left.

Round 202

The desiccator runs to 30N80E.

The changeling fires, drops his crossbow, and pulls out his rapier. The bolt flies off course. (Rolled 7)

Round 203

The desiccator moves to 30N110E and whiffs. (Rolled 8)

The changeling does the same. (Rolled 7) He steps to 25N110E.

Time Compress? Just swinging and no breathing?
