NE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Tarterian Dragon vs. Adult Ethereal Dragon

Well, if the changeling's going to make it easy on me and step away...

The desiccator holds its ground and spreads its shriveled legs apart, its entire body quivering with hate. The small thing angles its body towards its foe, and begins to suck air into its toothy maw. The light summer breeze that accompanies it increases in intensity, swirling a small cyclone of dusty air around it. The desiccator suddenly releases its breath, sending a blast of dry heat washing over its foe.

Round 204: The changeling dehydrates! (Rolled 10 Fort save) He takes 1 Con damage and has 9 Con and 10 hp left. The desiccator can breathe again in round 208.

The changeling responds by whiffing. (Rolled 8)

Round 205: The desiccator's fist bounces off the changeling's chain shirt. (Rolled 12)

The changeling rams his rapier into the desiccator. (Rolled 17) The desiccator takes 1 point of damage and has 17 hp left.

Round 206: The chain shirt stops another blow. (Rolled 13)

The rapier finds its mark. (Rolled 19) Another point of damage takes the desiccator to 16 hp.

Round 207: An enraged fist pounds the changeling. (Rolled 21) He takes 2 points of damage and is fatigued. (Rolled 12 Fort save) He has 8 hp left.

The fatigue causes the changeling to miss! (Rolled 15-1)

Round 208: Swing or breathe?

Don't forget the 5 temporary hitpoints that the desiccator gained when the changeling failed its save. The desiccator's going to keep smashing until this thing's dead.

You're right, the desiccator is up to 21 hp.

Round 208: The fatigue causes the changeling to be hit! (Rolled 16) 6 points of damage. The changeling has 2 hp.

The weak changeling still hits (Rolled 17-1), but only does 1 point of damage. The desiccator loses a temporary and has 20 hp total.

Round 209: The desiccator hits again for 5 and gets his temporary hp back for a total of 21. The changeling is dying.

A creature with four wings on a snakelike body with a long neck and tail flies to 50N110E20Z.
The pairs of wings span 7 feet and are perpendicular to each other. Its body, which stretches 5 feet, is covered with iridescent blue scales, with tufts of yellow feathers at the base of its neck and tail. Its head has a black, toothed beak and four eyes, one pair above the beak and one below.

The creature fires a ray of electricity from its tail at the desiccator. The ray hits easily. (Rolled 22 touch) 6 points of damage drops the desiccator to 15 hp total.

Did it gain additional hitpoints every time the changeling failed its save?

The desiccator hustles into range and uses its desiccating breath on the arrowhawk.

Temporary hitpoints do not stack - the most the desiccator can get is 5.

I believe the breath weapon is 15 feet (I don't have my books with me), which means the arrowhawk is out of range.

It could, but the desiccator's height (<5) plus the range of the breath (15) does not add up to 20. When we say that the arrowhawk is at 20Z, that means his altitude is in the square between 20.01 feet and 25 feet. That's why the desiccator would have to jump.
