New Console Unveiled, right down the road from me!

Hello all,

This is my first post in this forum, but I have what I think is a real scoop!

Right down the road from me, literally maybe 10 miles from my doorstep, is a new company that is shortyly to be entering the console market. They are called Infinitum Labs and they are working on what sounds like the ultimate console. I will let you all read the site, as opposed to typing what the console does, and then you looking at the site. It is worth the time.

And is going to be vapor hardware, like the company doesn't exsist. If you do searches for it over the Net you will find stuff saying it's most likely a hoax.

Oh, the Phantom... What a terrible idea.

The idea is this: Take the CD-ROM out of a computer. Get games over the net.

No, that's pretty much it. It's not a console (other than there's only
a few configurations of it, so software MAY run less buggily). But I doubt it
since if the code runs on the Phantom, it will run on the PC just as well... SO WHY NOT RELEASE IT FOR PC?

Once you do that, you've got the configuration problem again.

You'd be better off just playing PC games, and getting a brand-name (HP, Dell, etc.) rather than a hand-built setup.
