I don't have a problem with negative hit points, but I do appreciate that the death/dying rules could be better (read realistic and leveling). IMO, the DDN rules are not better. However, based on how easy it is to magically heal PCs in DDN so far, I think that the experienced gamers that I know would rarely hit 0 hp.
