No iterative attacks with natural weapons?

According to the Sage
No creature gets interative attacks with natural weapons
Is that really correct? And it carries over to grapple checks as well? I guess it's possible but I'm just surprised that I've never heard of this before.

Since this post is in direct response to your answer in the other thread, your opinion doesn't count. :)

Of course, now everyone is going to be afraid to disagree with you lest you bite their proverbial head off...

I'm old guard USENET and not afraid of anyone, but Sean's right. No iterative attacks with natural weapons (unless you have class levels in Monk).

Umm, you do realize that the "kreynolds" who posts here is not the Sean K. Reynolds who is the Sage. Look at his .sig, he tells you that himself.

When a human grapples, aren't they really using their "natural weapons"? Yet you get iterative grapple attacks. I'm clearly missing something here (probably caffine).

He was talking about a Sage Reply I posted in another thread. Your comment, however, would be much more appropriate if directed at Celebrim. ;)

Also, Sean K. Reynolds is not the Sage. That would be Skip Williams.

If they wish, and have other options. A vampire monk can use it's natural slam attack to grapple or it's monk attack progression to grapple.

Only if you have iterative attacks. A monster with 2 claw attacks can make two grapple attacks. Basically, you can make as many grapple attempts in a round as you have attacks.
