Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

"To be purely technical, they are already dead..." Gloria points out softly.

(OOC: Quozen, Valan, Jace, and Gloria. Note that no monsters remain near the ground for the grounder trio to melee)

Jace 7/10 HP 3 damage

Rystil Arden said:
Jace, however, manages to burn both of the undead next to Hasin (and also Hasin), destroying one completely, as the burning flesh melts and chars into ash, leaving a disgusting smell, and leaving the other one so close to being destroyed that a particularly strong breeze might knock it over. Gloria fires a crossbow at it, and the pierced flesh combined with all the other injuries proves just enough to cause it to lose its airborne status and tumble the ground, bone cracking as the flesh bubbles and melts into a puddle.*
(OOC: Also Hasin takes 3, but he's remarkably tough, so he's still okay)
OOC: YAY! I'm not useless! How many of these things are left?

Jace returns his morningstar to its place at his waist and reaches once again for his trusty heavy crossbow. Cut the semantics and destroy them! We've already lost both dwarves, who's next?! Jace will fire at a kite. Fire at undead kite (1d20+1=20, 1d10=5) AHH! it's a critical threat against undead! Does LEW have a class or feat that lets you crit against undead?

Valan smiles at his compainions courage perhaps even more than when the two beasts lose their air. I think I like this group. Valan will delay his action and attack the undead if they swoop for the party again, most damaged having priority.

*Gloria fires another crossbow bolt at the monster injured by Jace, and once again, the Jace/Gloria tag-team proves victorious, dropping another enemy from the sky.*

(OOC: One enemy left with 16 Damage)

*The remaining enemy's flesh roils grotesquely as it melds and merges into Dorrin's body, causing a revolting nauseating feeling in the young cleric.*

(OOC: Dorrin takes 3 Damage. I think that leaves only Gloria who is still on her mount, not in a coma, and not melded.

Dorrin's turn, then the ground people (Quozen, Valan, Jace) and Gloria)

AC 17, HP 11 of 14

Dorrin smiles grimly as the foe wraps around him. "Do what you have to do guys! Don't worry about me!"

Then he kicks off his mount, and crashes to the ground.
