Non-core Gestalt Options

Yeah, well... PsyWar/Swordsage is better.
This.

Ardent // Swordage for the same reason as above.

Dragonfire Adept // Sorcerer for another take on the ultimate Dragon wanna-be.

Beguiler // Warblade has a lot of nice Int synergy, and has good ranged and melee options.

Sorcerer 20 // Paladin 7 / Dragon Disciple 10 / Half-Dragon Paragon 3 -- My, what big muscles you have.

Cheers, -- N

(Ninja or Rogue or even Spellthief)/Swordsage - A lot of the shadowhand powers can trigger sneak attacks. Gestalt that with a sneak attacking class and you have ninja death blossom.

Warblade/Psion - The mind is the ultimate weapon. But just in case I also have this greatsword. :p

Or go really non-core and take an Unfettered/Iron witch. Swashbuckler par excellance.

Hexblade//Warlock - Simply brimming with fun flavor and moderate power.

Swashbuckler//Wizard - Now THAT is a real Bladesinger!

Barbarian/Frenzied Berzerker//Fighter/Reaping Mauler - Thibbledorf Pwent to the rescue!

Warblade/Swashbuckler//Swordsage - Done right, you get Str/Dex/Int on all attacks. Done REALLY right, you get Str/Int/Dex/Wis to attacks!

Crusader//Dread Necromancer -Muahahahhahaha..ahem...yeah.

Druid//Barbarian - You think a Dire Bear is scary? What about a RAGING Dire Bear!

It's the Ninja//Druid that gets really scary. You don't even see it until after you get hit with five attacks on a Pounce... each of which gets Sudden Strike damage. Which generally means you don't see it, ever. And it's doing this at level 5.

Druid/Warshaper/Master of Many Forms//Totemist - "What the hell are you?" Whatever I want to be, baby, whatever I want to be.

Cleric/Sacred Exorcist//Wizard/Celestial Mystic - Most Powerful classes, moving on into the most powerful prestige classes.

Commoner//Magewright - If you're going to suck, suck HARDCORE!!!

Barbarian//War Hulk
I'm sure you can think of any number of excellent classes to fill up the prerequisites to War Hulk with, but that combination right there is what will give your Power Attacks serious, serious hurtage.

[Edit: You have to be Large, though.

For extra funtimes, build War Hulk prerequisites with a Fighter 6 with the Dungeoncrasher alternate class feature and the Knockback feat.]

Monk/Warmage = Dragonball Z anyone

Monk/Samurai = I am turning Japanese!

Dragon Adept/Warmage = Spin on the humanoid dragon

Barbarian/Scout = Fasting moving, high damage

Monk/Scout = Highly mobile, and with Spring Attack and Flying Kick gets nasty

Rogue/Soulknife = Played this myself once a very nice combo.

Bard/Swashbuckler = Cerano de Bergerac

Ah, not really cool, as you'll now need ALL SIX attributes on the Monk//Warmage. And the Monk//Samurai, well, CW Samurai stinks on toast. OA Samurai is a fighter with fewer feats and a class feature that isn't very helpful for an unarmed character.

Dragon Adept/Warmage = Spin on the humanoid dragon

Not horribly bad, but I don't think that's really terribly useful. You're not likely to get full use out of both sides of the character.

Those are, in fact, good. The Barb/Monk//Scout works because it combines two relatively passive classes that focus on Hitting Things Over The Head as their action, and both sides jack that up. Monk//Scout loses a bit since the Scout movement bonus is the same type as the Monk's, so they don't stack, but not a big deal.

Rogue//Soulknife is pretty good, too, for the same principle. Bard//Swashbuckler is okay mechanically, but you'd probably be better off with a Bard//Fighter or something.

Well, it becomes a bit better if your gestalt game allows "stacking feats" on one side of the gestalt. You could start off with a Bard//Swashbuckler, ignore Strength and do a DEX/INT/CHA priority order, giving you plenty of skills and decent damage at level 3. Then when you finish Swashbuckler (reach level 3) you could either go for Fighter with Daring Warrior or Rogue with Daring Outlaw (and then go back to Swashbuckler after 4 levels of Rogue so you lose minimal BAB and Fort save).

I still think Beguiler // Swashbuckler would be a ton of fun.
