Nyaricus' Music Videos

Nyaricus

First Post
So, I got a neat idea that I thought I might as well start up; a compilation of my favourite bands' music videos that are hosted online, all linked through this EN World page. Since OT is the perfect place for this, and since I love music so much, I think this is an awesome idea and useful for my own purposes - and also useful for converting more metalheads :D

So, here goes nothin' :D

EDIT: 14 full music videos, 2 bonus videos and growing!

Dude, I'm totally gonna spam this thread with Britney Spears and Spice Girls videos.

:)

So are these links to videos of cool songs that you like, or are these links to cool videos ignoring how cool/uncool the song actually is? [Going to sleep soon, or else I'd watch some of these now]

My hope is to link up all of my favourite bands' music videos (meaning official singles, not just whatever) and have some other bonus material as well. Lamb of God has a fan-made video which makes them look like they've been sketched on the screen (see As The Palaces Burn, under Bonus Material), which I thought was too cool not to include.

So, to answer your question, mainly official stuff, but cool extras is *not* out of the question :D

ttyl buddy :)

Naw, you'd miss me too much. ;

And I don't know about you, but I've always liked these couple of Tool songs:
Schism
Aenema

And this may not be considered a great video by all, but it was the first video I've ever seen and since it's basically the song that got me into Alternative and then into Rock, it kinda holds a special place in my heart:
Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana.

Although if you don't want others to post links to videos that they like, let me know and I'll remove this. Thought it was a general thing until I read 'Nyaricus' Music Videos'.

If it's rock or metal, then go for it! :D [see genres above ;)]

Just be sure and get all their singles up, however, so I can simply copy+post. I like Tool too, so if you don't get it first, I'm going to have to research all their videos and link em up :p

It's too bad Maynards other band A Perfect Circle is done now. What they did over 3 albums was *awesome* :D The kicker is the fact that I liked APC long before I ever got into Tool, despite the fact that Tool was the original and main band the whole way through it all :p

ALL of them? I was just posting my couple of favs. Posting all is too much work. ;)

I never really got into A Perfect Circle much. Found their songs more on the average side [but that's just a personal taste thing]. Tool, on the other hand, rocks. Always loved Aenema since the first time I heard it and always will.

Do you know any naems of the songs you've heard? In any case, here are some personal favourites [no spec. order]:

Blue
Vanishing
A Stanger
Crimes
Gravity
Imagine [Cover]
Passive
Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums [Pet Remix]
Magdelana
Judith
Thinking of You
The Package
Weak and Powerless
The Noose
The Outsider
3 Libras
Pet

Any Tool songs you could recommend? Currently I have only Lateralus and Undertow but them.

What other metal/rock bands are you into, BTW?

I've listened to the album with 3 Libras on it. IIRC, it wasn't a bad disc, just nothing on it really made me go AWESOME!

As for Tool, I only have Aenima and Lateralus. Actually, haven't really listened to either for a while, come to think about it. Been checking out other music too much recently.

Okay, I do have a lot of misc. music and I've never really been good at remember what exactly is what genre, but some of the groups I like are Audioslave, Battlelore [just got into them like 1-2 months ago and they've became one of my favorites], Bush, Disturbed, Korn, Linkin Park, [Lacuna Coil and Nightwish are 2 groups that the Nightwish thread got me into], Metallica, Orgy, and Rammstein.

I do like plenty of other groups, but these are the ones where I like most of the songs from each disc, a very important thing to me.

However, hanging out with friends who always listen to Techno, Trance, etc. has gotten me into that genre as well, listening to Cities 97 has actually got me into a few songs [not many, but when it plays 8 hours a day, 5 days a week at work, you at least get accustomed to listening to that music...], other friends got me a little into rap [not majorly, only like a dozen songs total], and watching anime has gotten me into listening to Japanese music.

Man, without my friends, I'm not sure I ever woulda left the rock/heavy metal genres. Darn them! Darn peer pressure!
