Ohio GameDay IV planning

I would love to get in on this deal. We can't hold games for 40 gamers with my small coffee table though.

I will see if I can get something going, not sure what I can come up with, but let me see about it.

Oh and if we could get a "cheap" venue I certainly would be willing to contribute. If you are interested in a gameday, what would you pay if we had to cover expenses?

We are in Akron. Our renovations are almost complete. The downstairs walls need to be textured and painted, the entire downstairs bath needs redone still, and i need to lay tile in the official Dead Heroes Game Room, which is where our games take place here. we have a barn, but it is filled with yard gear.

Depending on how many people would be coming, there is a game store in my area (Dayton) with a large basement that hosts games if you contact them in advance. As I recall there are ten large tables (4 x 6) but pretty scarce on chairs. I know they would love to host something like this but probably could not support more than say 40 people without some manuvering.

There is a good chance I could secure a place (an old middle school converted to a community center), if you want to have it here in Akron.

Well, I guess we would first have to find out the interest level (of us Buckeyes) and then find a good location based upon that. It sounds like we have a number of people willing to research the host city but some places would be better (or worse) than others depending on the amount of people who would show.

I'm sure the Dayton Crew is up for some mischief (Fett, Enkhidu, Bubblicious, Aurora and myself) . We could even host again if somebody would actually show up this time. :D Not that we didn't have fun at Ohio Gameday 3, but we always game together so we wanted new blood.

If Dayton is an option I will talk with the local gameshop (Bookery Fantasy) about hosting for us. They have a real nice place and a great supply of things to buy!

If it is Akron then we need time to plan a road trip so keep that in mind!
