How soon in advance might we be able to figure something out i wonder. Just thinking about it makes me impatient. As for Akron, Thele are you referring to the place on Triplett? The haunted schoolhouse?
I have to Google Earth Columbus now and find out how far away it would be to get there. Any excuse for a road trip, no matter how brief, is a good excuse. And at what point in the process do we volunteer for games?

Man Keeper, Why you gotta do me like that. Enk introduced us for like 3 seconds at the bookery one time and I replied to some of your threads at NTL that one time when I was still allowed there .

In any event, I know that the Bookery in Dayton will, upon request, stay open as late as you want them to if you tell them ahead of time. No problem with food or drinks, either.

Right now we should focus on venue and then date, with the understanding that the venue may have some sort of impact on the date. We already have solid leads on locations in Dayton, but I believe the consensus is that Columbus is the better location for Ohoians.

I believe Shaylon is actually doing some "legwork" in the Columbus area and we should give it a chance. Also, don't expect this to happen next weekend or even next month. We have to give eyeryone ample time to schedule.

2) figure out day for game day
3) assign game slots to people who want to run games
4) sign up for games
5) show up and have fun

I couldn't pick you out of a lineup if my life depended on it. I have given Enk a hard time for not setting a proper intro for you and your wife for the rest of the Dayton Crew or the Ruffians as we are more formally known. I know you more from NTL than here and have lots of respect for you and your opinion on gaming and life in general. But Enk is selfish and wants you to be his friend and not ours.

By the way, the Gamedays I have made it to were loads of fun. If we get this one going and off the ground properly, what say you to doing it more often than, say, once every year? Maybe one per season (with no summer get together because, well, Origins and GenCon fill that gap well enough, thank you)?
