Okay guys. First post so bear with me.

It's been SEVERAL years (at least a decade) since I've dabbled with D&D. My friends are starting an online game, and I joined for the lulz. Level 2 starting out, we've got about three rather short sessions in to kind of set the scene.

I need your opinion.

I am playing a Beguiler with the Vow of Nonviolence feat. The character himself is a full on non-lethal build and I could really use some tips on level progression and tactics against the undead (as I've come to understand we'll be facing Quite a bit of -_-

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I'm not mistaken, Vow of Nonviolence only applies to Humanoids and Monstrous Humanoids. Undead are neither, so you can hit them in the face with a mace until they stop moaning for your brains.
Undead = handled.

Welcome to the board, though. Lots of helpful arguments go on here, just do make sure not to take any aggression too seriously. We mean to help.

Also, Beguiler is a great choice for Vow of Nonviolence and Peace. None of their spells violate the vows, so you're pretty much golden.
I'm told Beguiler 6 / Apostle of Peace 2 / Mystic Theurge is a pretty nice set up for level 10ish games.
