Yeah, I'll probably do that myself soon. It's sad - I quite like them.
Same, I bought a bunch of them since my group was playing in person at the time. COVID hit, we moved to remote and got comfortable with that, and they're now just used to display some of the minis I've painted in different scenes. I sometimes wonder how anecdotal my experience is for how products like that end up doing.

I think they were too expensive. At Gameholecon when they first came out eventually many many tables had them and used them. For portable gaming they are both fantastic.

However at $60 a box I think most people who didn’t prioritize portability passed on them.

They seem to do better at $30 or $20 and seem to fly off the shelves at $3.

There is going to be a lot of them out in the wild soon and I think a demand for monster tooen clings may, I hope, develop.

Yeah, we have the monster and terrain cases, and hope as well that more clings (especially monster clings) become available. They're very nice for tabletop play.

I tend to find that anecdotal experience is never unique, nor is it ubiquitous. You can find people that discount your experience as if it doesn't count; that it means nothing because it doesn't mean everything. It's naturally somewhere in the middle. A lot of people have switched to online gaming, sure, which makes products like these slightly more niche, but there's still a lot of people playing in person. It's just that there's a ton of methods to play in person, and a ton of different products to use. No one way is best, and unfortunately, things like Warlock Tiles would have been better off existing before they got so expensive to make.

No matter how you look at it, many of the current products designed for miniatures would have done much, much better had they existed 10+ years ago, when they would have had less competition, would have been cheaper (both retail and manufacturing cost), and would have had a larger percentage of people using them. (I'm not sure that it's a smaller number overall, but it's certainly a smaller percentage).

One of my players was shopping out of town and saw these on sale. She's picking them up for me.
It's nice to be thought of, with all the stress I've been feeling being a GM lately.
(Actually feeling a little emotional.)
That’s awesome! Thanks for posting that.

My wife grab the monster case. Figured it wouldn't hurt to have a set of tokens. The original price was just way to much. The quality is there no doubt. At 2.99 u.s.d you can't turn it down.
