That's not the only place +30 to a skill is frightening, but it's certainly a good start.

Right, I will change that. On a question - is the Genesis spell from the ELH available? If it is I would like to have a demiplane made up from three castings in which the guilds headquarters are located. A further 100000gp will be spent on having buildings etc in it to house the guild admin/personal house etc. I will then also have multiple items as follows given to key followers to transport goods back and forth/ move people as encessary etc

Gate token
The gate token is a small key shaped brooch worn on the inside of your shirt. On speaking the command word the user and up to two others in contact with him are transported to the Hidden Guilds entrance in the Hidden Plane. The device is activated by a command word and can only be used twice per day. If activated while in the guild headquarters the user will be returned to the point at which the device was last activated.
Requirements: Craft Wonderous Item, Plane shift, CL 13 Market Price 9000gp. Materials 4500gp, 360xp

(Yeah, I know, this is all flavour stuff but I think it will round the character out nicely)
 

That's acceptable; however, you might be better served by taking the Landlord feat, and getting a good bit of cash with which to build this. It'd give you 2,000,000 gp (DM extrapolation; if there's an official extension of the table in Stronghold Builder's, I'll use that instead) which could be spent on any building expenses, including the cost of purchasing the Genesis spells.
 

Okay, here is the first draft of my character... sans equipment and history, obviously. Because of some character history-tweaking, I decided not to go Holy Warrior... I wanted to stay away from spellcasting and anything too obviously paladin- or cleric-ish. Divine Champion from Player's Guide to Faerun would probably be about right, but it requires that I use my patron diety's chosen weapon, and I doubt I am doing that. ;) I am uncertain what other languages I would have had a chance to learn, as they would most likely be other human languages.
