Critical Miss

So! Here is the rule: If you roll a natural 1 on an attack it is always a miss. You then roll again trying to hit AC 10. If you miss then it is a critical miss. If the second roll is a natural 1 then it is an automatic critical miss.

Now you have.
Critical Failures are not normally standard rules, but if that’s the way we are playing. {shrug}

Can you list all your House Rules then and put them maybe in the first post of the IC thread or something for reference? The above post will get buried and we will not find it later if we forget.

On another note:
TS, you should also read the spell effects for Color Spray. The two goblins that failed their Save are not going to wake up and start fighting after getting damage. They fell unconscious (not asleep), when they regain consciousness after 2d4 rounds, they are still blinded and stunned for 1d4 rounds, then stunned for 1 round after the blinded wears off.

How do you add pictures in Ditzie? Do you need an account? (Wanted to add a skull on Goblin10, since I'm pretty sure he's dead :) ).
I can add some more of those icons to the map on the top. But all I did was pull down a new image from the top and the opened it up to change it to another image. Ditzie allows you to do that and browse other Albums of pictures to select from (click Beta). I just navigated to my own Ablum (thumbnail Icon is larger than average and is the Green Hydra Head from the cover of the APG) where I have a lot of Conditions Icons for my own maps.

Double clicking one of the icons will show you the path in Ditzie’s Gallery of Albums for my uploaded images.

Thanks, Perrin.

I'm not so sure about the "need a full move action to open a door" thing though (if that was the case, the two goblins formerly attacking Sachiko could not have gotten where they are in one action, and neither could Fastus get to where he is with a single move action last round with a door in the way). So... what IS the rule for opening goblin doors, TS? Assuming it's not a secret. :)

No problem. I try to keep to the rules as best as I can. But instead of checking things when you posted that Fastus "...and then rushed out to help, across the narrow room and over the creaky bridge-thing to the next hut in line.
He wrenched that door open, to see..." I zeroed in on one thing. Thank you for pointing out my mistake. I have updated the "Combat B - Round 1 - Wrapup" and the map. As far as the goblins are concerned: Goblin6 opened the door before stepping forward. Then the other two went out the open door and then the one came in through the open door behind Sachiko.

As anounced, I should be back to the internet around the 30th. Fastus will go along with any suggestions from Elsbeth, Suldrel or Sachiko in the meanwhile.

See you then!

I have decided to stick with the rules as stated. So no critical miss. I will only adjudicate when the rules seem vague like the case with reach weapons and the diagonal.

To be clear I am waiting on actions from Shayuri and then jkason before moving on to the next round.

Reference the maps, how is everyone liking the maps using "ditzie"? I noticed that Graybeard and Kaodi don't seem to be moving their pieces. Is there some problem with using the tool?

There is a known issue with not being able to move tokens around when using an iPhone or iPad. But as long at they are clear enough, the next person in line can always include their moves when they update. :)

I apologize for not posting the past week or so. I recently purchased a new vacation home and sols my previous o e. The former VA action home sold much faster than anticipate. I had to make a quick, last minute trip to finish moving. I should be a to resume posting later tonight.

Thanks.

Sorry. I went ahead and moved the IC along. Next round is up with still more goblins.
