[sblock=For Egon]Boddynock was vaguely familiar with Haedirn, they met in passing several years ago when Haedirn was traveling in Tethyr. The elf wizard stopped by the Scheppen family manor as the gnome's mother was a customer of the elf, purchasing a few potions and other alchemical emulsions guaranteed* to renew health, vigor, and beauty. His mother also enjoyed the poems Haedirn wrote for his betrothed, an elf maiden whose name Boddynock couldn't recall at the moment. The sorcerer remembered that the elf wizard maintained an unusual keep not too far from Port Kir, somewhere west along the coast. He never learned what was so unusual about it, although his father said it was fit for a gnome.

At least, I think it's +1 for Brue's Int. I'm on my mobile device right now so I'll have to verify. EDIT: Yup, it's +1.

Also, a note for ever'body: I have a jury trial to conduct Oct 15-16 and will be engrossed in work until then. That's why I've been slow to post lately. Sorry for that, things should open up for me after the trial. Forged Fury, feel free to post for me or put Brue in the background if you need a reply and I'm not around. EN World is my reprieve, so I'll be around some. Sorry you have to live through this announcement multiple times, hafrogman and FF.

Forged Fury: As a reaction, could I cast Web to prevent the floor from falling out from under us? And assuming that I can do that, would that also prevent any of us from taking damage from falling debris as that also gets caught up in the webbing?

I know - if this is allowed we are all stuck for the duration, and have to make STR checks to move out of it. I'm just trying to be creative with ways to prevent damage here. :)

Sorry, I'm going to stick with RAW here. Feather Fall could have helped though.

ETA: Also, if you pick up clues about the environment in the future and want to try something proactive, let me know. I probably would have allowed a casting of web prior to everyone piling in the room, which would have helped hold everything together.
