D&D 5E [OOC] Uller's Out of the Abyss

We have some bio-luminescent life in caves around where I live. Not anything as spectacular as that. You really have to take time to adjust your eyes before you can even notice them.


Ugh...my basement flooded Thursday night...We got 7" of rain in about 90 minutes.

Edit: Maybe if I don't dry it out, I'll grow my own underdark....

Oof, sorry to hear that. That is an insane amount of rain.

Surana recommends not attempting a DIY Underdark.

Just a rules clarification: all characters, npcs and monsters can us HD. So your NPCs all can as well.

I've been doing this at my table game and it has worked out well...it makes sense that if the party fights a monster but escapes or they retreat it can heal up a bit too.

Yeah, I realize it's alright per the rules, but was thinking we had talked about restricting use of the NPCs given what a parade we had/have. In this case I am glad to be wrong.

Sigh...Ez is really taking the "murder" out of "murderhobos." ;-)

We need Erevan back in here to referee these two, hehe.

TBH though I think Ez & Surana will be good for each other in the long run. Without him, she'd probably get in too many fights (and likely die in one). Without her, he'd probably be entirely too trusting and friendly to everyone in the Underdark, also likely resulting in an untimely end.

This should be interesting.

So, here I am. With sincere apologies for my looooooong absence... Real life entrapped me in a big way (moving, new job). Sorry for keeping you guys in the dark.

It will take me some time to catch up with the IC thread, although considerably less so because of the recent forum collapse, it seems. Perhaps Erevan can be reintroduced in an unexpected way? If you guys would still have me, of course.
