Origins 2005 (June 30 - July 3)

I'll be there running Reaper minis games all weekend. I'll be able to slip out now and then to get in some other playing.

I've come to the conclusion that I like board gaming and minis gaming at Cons more than RPGing. The short format doesn't lend itself to the things I like best about RPGs, and I don't get enough boardgaming in these days.

The Panels are usually good, but I can never get a good list of them to figure out who is speaking where.
Just to let you know, I'm not organizing the Freelancer series of seminars this year like I have the past two. After having a lot of medical issues over the past 6 months, I need to channel all of my resources towards paying those hospital and other medical bills. To my knowledge, the only seminars will be those that GAMA/Academy sponsors. I imagine a couple of them will cater towards freelancing, but not to the level of the past couple of years.

Of course, it figures that the year I bow out, Monte decides to come. He's fun to listen to at seminars. Oh the stories he can tell... ;)

I am going Thursday, Fiday and saturday. I will check for my book when I get home. I want to get in on a couple D&D games and see what else is going on....MAYBE next year I might get a booth
