OSR OSR-inspired video game, The Secret of Weepstone, has a trailer

Yes, likely it's not a real module, but it would be kind of cool if it was.
I played the demo and I honestly think it could be really easy to transfer to a module. They even already have the module style map. (and the cover art lol).

The demo was cool! Felt like a Solo play of some old school dungeon crawl. But I am interested how many new characters they are, because boy a lot died for me. The kid was killed by a toilet and the rest died in the last two encounters. Only 3 out of 7 PCs survived haha.

Interesting little bits: No random encounters, all were scripted. No surprise rolls, no reaction rolls. And at least in the demo no chance for resting or leaving the dungeon to rest / restock, but that might be changed in the full game. I am definitely interested because good modern dungeon crawlers are rare (I mean modern not in vibes, but comfortable gameplay. Old dungeon crawler video games are often too clunky for my taste).

On further thought, monsters that fail their morale checks could simply disappear and thus it would not be necessary to move them on the map.

Yeah I think this could be easily implemented. Reaction rolls would ofc be more difficult because you can't really do dynamic roleplay that easily, but maybe some simple stuff that monsters block the way, but are not immediately attacking or you can try go persuade them or offer money so they make way.

Huh. I would have thought random encounters would be a central element of this.
I could imagine that without reaction rolls and morale they could become too tedious and turn into a grind.
