Game 1 AVS vs Kings...best yet of all games? YOU BET!!

Peter looks like he hasn't lost a step. Hard hitting. Great skating. Everything!! Avs should just get better...no game 7's!!
:D

Definately a great game tonight with Co. vs. LA.

The game was fast paced during the entire game, down to the last second.

LA certainly played well, I didn't think they would be able to challenge us that well after we got them down 2-0, but their determination shouldn't be underestimated.

This will be a great series folks, don't miss it. Likely to go to 6-7 games, if this game was any indication.

All is right with the world

The Avs win and Detroit lost. Both games were great, and I really think the Avs-Kings series will go either 6 or 7 as well. On the bright side, Forsberg can't lose his spleen this year. :)

Why can?t the Islanders get players like him?
Wish I could have watched the Canucks and Wings, but being a Flyers fan I had to watch them instead. I wish the game had gone on longer so I could have seen more.

ummm...the Islanders had Todd Bertuzzi...they traded him about the same time they ditched Palffy...

I believe Milbury felt he would never be anything more than a third-liner...if I recall the quote correctly...

I think that winning the Stanley Cup is great for a team, but I think that is much better when the team have a story. Remember last year, Raymond Bourque with the Avanlanche.... or the Wing of couple of years before, when one of their player (I don't remember is name) have an accident. Their victory have a meaning.

I think that this year, the story is in Montreal. The victory of Saku Koivu over the cancer is an exploit in itself, but it's return to the competion and the quality of hockey he play is an example for everyone. Even Mario Lemieux dont believe he can make a return this years !!

Do you have story of your team, that make you believed it can make a unforgettable Stanley Cup victory ? Maybe you can share them with us ?
