Yeah, yeah. If you live someplace warm, it's probably been bbq season for months. But up here in the frigid north, we're finally losing the last bit of snow, and it's spent the last week raining.

Yes, well, you can rest easy. I finally took down the last of Fluffaderm's Xmas decorations, so there will be no more snow.

As DaveLozzi pointed out, she was likely cursing us all.

And so, grill-master, will you be preparing the menu for the next Pulp Heroes game? ;)

Or rather, what should I buy and will you cook it? The hamburgers and hot dogs I served last game represent the cutting edge of my culinary skills.

Someone wants to know the origin of the name bbq? :D
Though it's not grandma friendly...
Because it's that way that I like it (a full roasted pork, cut in small bits, and voilà!).

here in hong kong some people like to fry little sardine type fish over the pit... not sure if that would go down on the atlantic seaboard though...

My dad just bought me a Natural Gas grill for my birthday and I get to go pick it up today! So all I have to say is I hope my wife loves everything cooked on the grill!

Of course the best part of having a Natural Gas hook up is that I never have to run to the store to BBQ! Just turn the grill on and hit the ingnition! We have some pork chops and pork ribs in the frezer, mmmm, BBQ Chops and Ribs.

Well, it is still a bit cold up hear in Rimouski, but we do get some nice sun. Now if only the snow could go away !

While the snow is pretty much gone in Edmonton, it's still to cold for bbq season here. Maybe in about a month, me and my sis will uncover the bbq and start grilling again. Last summer was a good one for grilling and having friends over.

As for what I like - steak marinated w/Bullseye bbq sauce. Kickin' !

I do like bbq chicken though.

Man this thread is making me hungry. :)

I can't believe what I'm reading about BBQ season and it being too cold. We BBQ all year round, pretty much every weekend. Sure, it tests one's fortitude and dedication when it's -30 but the results are always worth it. :)

Favourite recipe: Salmon filets marinated in a thick sauce of dill (lots), garlic (to taste), pepper (not too much) and whatever other herbs are on hand. The trick with fish is not to overdo it.
