[OT] Raw or Smackdown?

Pound for pound, which is your favorite WWF (Get the "F" back in there) brand? Eric Bischoff's Raw or Stephanie McMahon's Smackdown, based off of combined Storyline, Superstars, or Diva's.

Although I like Stephanie, the only reasons I watched Smackdown was for Hulk Hogan and Stacy Keibler. Now that Hogan is MIA and Stacy is dancin' for Bischoff I'm gonna have to say Raw is my favorite, but that'll change if and when Hulk Hogan comes back to Smackdown.

I used ta watch Raw simply for the Undertaker, but now that he's jumped ship to Smackdown, I watch that. 'Course I still like Raw thanx to Booker T and Goldust.

I've been a fan of the WWF since Hogan first went there (we watched him locally in the AWA before that). Got started watching WCW in the late 80's when I was temporarily living in Columbia, SC and they didn't carry WWF programming.

But lately, I'm losing hope. They've spent two years or so pissing away their talent and their viewership trying to rehash the same stories over and over, and forcing crap down our throats.

I'm just waiting for the lawsuits to start flying from some of those workers. Sure, you can say that they had a choice not to do those things, but then, Anita Hill didn't have to follow Clarence Thomas to a new job either. Just wait and see what happens if one or more of the Divas sue Vince for Sexual Harassment due to him booking them all in (really reaaaally creepy) angles with him. They don't have to win to do severe damage to WWE.

Right now, Smackdown is the better show. More actual wrestling, actual storylines (though not enough) and none of that mindless idiocy that has completely ruined RAW.

Every monday night, I play on my computer with RAW playing in the background. I pause and watch when something interesting comes on. I've done that for nearly 20 years. But as of this last monday, I'm seriously considering NOT watching RAW anymore until I see definite improvement in their content (by reading the run-down and show reviews).

Hogan had been pretty poor in the ring since his return. He needed the rest, he had been working injured for several weeks. He moved like an old man, he throws the worst punches in the company, and is still working the same tired program. The idea of watching Smackdown for Hogan is alien to me.

I have a great amount of respect for what he has accomplished, and his return has been entertaining because of how emotionally charged it's been. But it's still painful to see him try and wrestle, and to see guys selling his weak punches.

Smackdown has been far better on the whole, but Raw has been picking up. Rey Mysterio is the bomb, I would watch Touched by an Angel if it had a Rey match in it.

A lot more needs to happen than a simple reinvention to restore the massive ratings that Raw & Smackdown held just a few years ago. There needs to be a major reform of the business, from the top of the WWE down to the part-time jobbers operating in small feds that work from Legion halls and school gymnasiums. A good start would be a strong, militant and savvy union.

Where is Triple H? He is the MAN when it comes to smackdown. Where has he been? What happened to him? Hell he is the shiznit when it comes to wrestling. He can throw a move and paly the game better than the rest but i sense they are ignoring him and going for stupid plot lines that make no sense.

I miss the WWF/WCW what couldabeen the best storyline for years and they hosed it...what a waste..
